Children

Welcome! Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by: building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

Children are blessings at St. James United Methodist Church!

Nurturing and growing God’s children through engaging learning and support is our priority. We are fortunate to have an extremely active and talented group of volunteers, from Sunday School teachers to small group leaders. The Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to providing opportunities for our children to experience Christian education and fellowship.

At St. James, we seek to create a loving environment where our children can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. There are so many opportunities for participation within this exciting ministry.  We encourage everyone, young and old, to become involved in the children’s ministry at St. James!

All children are God’s Children and all children are welcome at St. James!

Safety

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition, all teacher helpers must attend training.
